My GDD is about a Choose Your Own Adventure Story revolving around travelling to Space and meeting interesting lifeforms.
I haven't quite decided on a name yet, but I'm considering something along the lines of...
The Journey
Hey Dagda, it's your boy, I love your 'choose your own adventure' game idea. Can't wait to play it knowing your story telling skills. I have one problem with your GDD though. You could talk about the story, plot and characters a bit more. Like maybe just add a bit more detail and talk about the protagonist( unless the protagonist is yourself that maybe mention that too). Besides that everything looks perfect and again I can't wait to play your game.
ReplyDeleteHey Darragh, just watched your GDD and I think it's a really cool game idea you have here. It reminds me of Black Mirror Bandersnatch! I think this game will be really interesting to play and will really keep the player engaged due to the level of uncertainty of their fate involved in playing the game. The adventure is obviously the main narrative in this game so I think you could make this game to be simplistic in design to make sure the design doesn't take away from the overall story. I wish you the best with the rest of your development and I can't wait to see the end product!
